My mum, my brother and I spent 4 amazing days in and around Cape Town with George. He was organizing the daily schedules perfectly, included all our wishes and showed us many lovely places. Every single day, from the beginning until the end, was just brilliant. Many times we went off the main tourist ways and had unique experiences which wouldn’t have been possible without him. I have to mention the zebra that we saw at our first day from very close, it was fascinating for all of us.
Apart from the lovely and interesting places that we saw, driving around with George isn't only about getting from one place to another one, it’s about seeing and getting to know South Africa. George’s knowledge about nearly everything is just amazing, historic backround information, interesting stories as well as information about vegetation, wildlife, people and lifestyle let the time pass fast. But of course there is always a moment for asking whatever you want to, no matter if it’s about sharks, seals, lions or other animals, about plants, vegetation and wine, about the school- and health-system, or even about sports…George seems to know everything. For example when he got to know that I’m studying law, he told me spontaneously interesting historic cases related to what we saw or what we have been talking about, which was absolutely great and impressive.
I can definitely say that in these 4 days we saw more than in any other holiday. I wish we could have stayed some more days, because this man loves what he is doing: showing others the beautiful South Africa :)
