Mr Bibb, better known as Randy, was my tour guide in New Orleans,LA IN JUNE, 2016.
I took the historical, slightly macabre, cemetary tour. Randy was extremely knowledgeable, very attentive and overall aware of each of his guests.
I felt like I met one of my brothers that I had not seen in a while. This man made me laugh, kept me interested and told me more about New Orleans, the French quarter and other Facts that I can not remember it all READ SOME OF HIS ARTICLES.
I really liked seeing the LA Supreme Court and then seeing the resting place of Homer Plessy. My name is Ron Ferguson and I was researching a possible relation. YOU KNOW- PLESSY VS FERGUSON. Anyway separate but equal doesn't work, and it still doesn't work.
I give Randall (Randy) Bibb 5 stars all around and HIGHLY RECOMMEND ONE OF HIS TOURS. Thank You. Ron F. One of Randy's tour group in Late June 2016.
My group of four went on a tour with about 10 other people with Randy as the tour guide. He was very informative and did not give folklore stories just to scare us. He told stories that were either personally meaningful to him or had the archives to support the story. I had taken another tour similiar to his a while ago and thought to be a little disappointed I didn't recieve any spooky stories that made your skin crawl, but I really appreciated his no-nonsense approach to his storytelling of this truly historical city.
I will say that his voice was giving out after being on two other tours that day after rainfall. But he powered through it and gave an excellent tour nonetheless.

Thank you so much for your input. You bring up a very important point: it's interesting to me that after 20 years of doing haunted tours I find it takes more to give people a chill today than it used to. I think that's why there are so many fake stories out there. I talk about actual reported hau More
ntings rather than Hollywood horror movies. When people ask me about ghost tours I tell them if they want to be scared they should go for street theatre with a tour guide in a costume. (And many of the ghost tours out there today are exactly that - and that's perfectly fine for those who want entertainment.) But I give authenticity and a ghost (if you believe in them) is a shadow, a voice, a footstep, the sound of something hitting a wall, a door opening - that's what I give. Thanks for mentioning it. (And yes - my voice was nearly gone by the end of the evening. LOL! At one point I thought it was going to rally but, no...!) Less
