Hi everyone, First I had a few considerations, because Cesar wanted to come around one day before the tour and pick up the money for the tour that started the next day (which seems to be common here sometimes). Naive we did this and it was worth it. The travel to the camp took longer that expected (4-5h) also because we had to wait an hour at a stop. Beside of this the experience was very positive. Cesar and the Shaman seemd to be experienced and we saw a lot of animals for two days. Sloffs, river dolphins, several monkeys, bullet ants, frogs, tarantulas and more. We went outside 4 times in total 2 times at the evening / night and 2 times on the next day. Also we saw parts of the jungle when we got to the camp already. The lounge was very beautiful and we were even the only two guests there (me and my friend). The meal was also fine. The ceremony itself felt safe and the Shaman did his job very good. At the next day we ended it with a flower bath. All in all I would not like to miss the experience when I visited Iquitos. Greetings, Felix.

Our three days trip with César was great.
We saw a lot of animals and different parts of the jungle.
We could tell that César has a long experience as a guide since he was very knowledgeable and always calm.

Pacaya Samiria trip with Cesar
Reviewed April 29, 2022
I had a great time visiting the Pacaya Samiria Reserve with Cesar. He was able to contact a friend and arranged a weeklong visit and did a combination of both camping and a local homestay. We did a wide variety of activities from canoeing through the flooded forest, river dolphin searching, and even visiting the local baker. Cesar helped identify birds and tracked wildlife, and overall was very knowledgable about the jungle. I'm looking forward to my next visit with him!
