Marcello was one of the reasons I loved the Sicily trip. He is extremely knowledgeable and well prepared and has great rapport with all ages. I have taken many trips, mainly with Grand Circle, and Marcello is at the top of all program directors.

My husband and i had Marcello Torissi as our guide on a recent trip to Sicily. Marcello knows and loves his country, and shared both with us in such a way that we felt as though we were true Sicilians as we experienced all his country has to offer. Marcello has a lot of enthusiasm and is willing to go above and beyond in order to make sure all those in his group have the best experience they can while touring Sicily. We have never had a guide take such a personal interest in each and every guest in a tour group. He is simply the best there is, and both of us highly recommend him!

Marcello was very knowledgeable at all the sites we visited He was friendly and accommodating with everyone on the trip. He took care of any problem that occurred, easily and without jeopardizing the scheduled activities. He was an exceptional Guide, and I should know, since I have been traveling overseas since 1984 and have been to 111 countries and all 7 continents.
