We met Marcello on our Grand Circle tour of Sicily. It was an unforgettable adventure because of the knowledge, caring, adapting to various situations along the journey, and his love of his homeland that made it so wonderful. He always was ready for anything and did the task with love and respect to all the people. His enthusiasm of sharing his feelings and various adventures of Sicily; and his own life made is more enjoyable for my husband and me. There are guides and then there is Marcello, a step above many who we have had in our travels.
