Amany was our guide during a 1 day layover in Cairo. We wanted to see the 'basics' - Giza  & museums with the addition of local recommendations. She put together a detailed itinerary that allowed us to see the sights and locations when best suited to schedule, weather and crowds. Amany's knowledge of the Egyptian history and culture is excellent and she was able to adapt the discussion to suit the whole family. As a family, we liked the viewpoint of a female guide in a male dominated society. Amany also planned our meals to try traditional Egyptian foods. The recommendations were fabulous in local restaurants (catered to locals, not tourists) that we would have been unable to find in a short stay.

I would recommend Amany as a guide to anyone visiting Egypt.

I was in Cairo for over two weeks and Amany was one of four tour guides I chose for this time. As I went there alone I wanted someone I can trust and my intuition was right: She’s a trustworthy, kind, attentive, patient, open-minded, sweet woman and knowledgeable, professional, passionate tour guide. I especially wanted to take pictures and already knew before what I wanna see and when I wanna see it. So instead of having a tour guide which plans the itinerary for me I just needed someone that accompanies me and guides me to the places I wanted to go. Although she’s maybe more used to other kinds of tours she was fine with that and all the tours turned out exactly as I imagined them. She was also open to spontaneous changes. For example, once I changed the whole tour [instead of going to the Pharaonic Village, I wanted to go to Memphis and Saqqara a second time] and that was absolutely no problem for her. I’m looking forward seeing her again when I’m traveling to Cairo next time! I’m sure the tours with her will be great again! :)

I think Amany Fahmy is the best guide. She is very excellent and worked with our company Maestro Online Travel many times. She is so friendly and patient with the clients and this is what they say in their feedback.
