It feels a chore getting up early and following a few hundred other tourists up this mountain in the dark of night. However, once you are up there, you realise why you are here. This is an amazing experience. Watching the sun rays hit the top of the peaks at dawn is truly amazing. I was surprised to see so many people leave after the sunrise. The view was just as special an hour later but crowds had thinned out. I just loved it.

Visiting a monastery at 4000 m is quite mistical, the Everest memorials are surreal and base camp is among the best accomplishment anyone can have. the actual hike is quite challenging up hill all the time and add in altitude sickness but it’s with it bud the picture is the view from are tea house in the morning” Thank you Santosh again for your excellency, organizing our memroable trek to Everest.
