Did a 4 day safari of the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti! Richard was an excellent guide who was able to get us to all the hot spots. He has a great eye, and we were able to see all of the "Big 5" successfully, along with MANY others. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and terrain, and was able to answer all of our many questions. He is also a very nice guy who was extremely accommodating, and made us feel very comfortable during our first African experience. Thank you, Richard, for an amazing experience!

Richard is such a sweet soul. From the moment I met him, I knew we were in for a treat. He escorted 4 of us on a 4 day budget safari of the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti . Richards knowledge of the landscape and wildlife began the minute we left the parking lot of our hotel. He was informative about our environment, and landscape all along the way. He has a calm spirit about him, and a true appreciation for his beautiful country. He got us to all the hot spots first so we could snap photos before the area was flooded with vehicles. It was as if he knew exactly what we wanted! Never once did I feel like I was on a budget safari. We were beyond blessed to have him as our guide. We learned so much from him, and by the end of the trip it was like saying good bye to family. He has a true talent, and is a top notch guide.

Last month I fulfilled a long cherished dream of mine. I went on safari to Tanzania!! My guide Richard Peter was absolutely fantastic. His vision is as sharp as an eagle and it is thanks to his expertise that I got to see the most wonderful bird species and all of the Big 6 - Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Cape Buffalo, Elephant and Rhino. Even spotted some really rare specimens such as the Serval Cat and the Crested Hoopoe bird. Got great pictures that will make for fantastic memories in the years to come. Richard is also extremely knowledgeable about the Flora and Fauna in the National Parks. A thoughtful, courteous and pleasant person, he is a skilled driver who has the greatest respect for the animals and their habitat. Not once did he ever go off road or bend the rules that the National Parks have in terms of bridge crossings, double parkings etc. He also took good care of me during the trip.....always ensuring that I had all my luggage and my lunch packs with me everytime we left the hotel. I did a 12 day tour that took me through the Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Serengeti National Parks and the beautiful Ngorongoro crater. Of all these, I enjoyed Tarangire and Lake Manyara best for their gorgeous and varied landscapes and their wealth of bird life. Serengenti was also special as it gifted me my Big Cat sightings. Ngorongoro crater was surreal......a veritable land in the clouds!!!! This was the only place where I got to see my Rhino. For anyone going on safari to Tanzania, I highly recommend Richard as a guide. He has been instrumental in giving me a truly wonderful safari experience. Asante Sana Richard!
