My wife and I had the honor and pleasure of having Richard Peter as our guide for our 5-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, and I wanted to take a moment to tell you what an outstanding guide he is. He is thoughtful, considerate, kind, jovial, and has a wonderful laugh and smile. He has a deep and broad reservoir of knowledge, yet he does not burden the tourist with facts--he gives them at the appropriate time. He has excellent instincts both in finding animals and in knowing when we would like to stop or take a photograph (and what would make a good photo) and when we should move on. We saw all of the "big 5"--the rhino was truly incredible. It's obviously not guaranteed to see certain animals, but Richard knows when and where to look to give his guests the absolute best chance. We also saw lions on the ground, on the rocks, and in the trees (two different prides!) at Serengeti. What an experience! Richard is also a very good and safe driver, and we felt 100% comfortable and secure at all times. In summary, we had a fabulous experience, and I would highly recommend Richard Peter as a guide to anyone going on safari!

My son and I went on a 4-days safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater, guided by Richard (and with Pascal, a very good cook). Based on his 9 years of guiding experience, Richard knows the area as the back of his hand, he´s got vast knowledge of a lot of animals, and he clearly loves and respects them. We brought home beautiful photos of all the BIG 5 and many others, Richard is a very good animal-spotter, and he knows where to go even when it´s off the beaten path. He´s a bold driver, yet we always felt safe, the only incident we had on the way was a punctured tyre. All in all a very good experience.

My dad and myself had the good fortune to have Richard Peter as our guide on a 4 days safari through Serengeti and The Crater. Richard was amazing at spotting the animals and knew all of the useful back roads and trails so that we had a great chance to see the animals.
