My partner and I spent three days with Richard on a Safari of Tangiere and Ngorongoro. 

Richard was super helpful, polite and rofessional from the first moment we met him. He agreed to pick us up from Moshi very early in the morning. He had a puncture on the way to pick us up, fixed it, and was still with us early!

Richard is a local through and through, he knows everything that is worth knowing about the country and area, as well as all of the wildlife , plants and trees. 

Richard has the perfect balance between not talking constantly, but talking enough. He is willing to sit back and let you enjoy the experience. Richard speaks brilliant english, has a great sense of humour and interesting sstories!

Richard was very involved i n aming sure our hotels were doing their job and being ready for us. Richard organised the trip on our terms. He tailored it around exactly what we wanted and was flexible in changing it. 

As a safari guide, Richard is and expert. As well as a talented driver, and sharp-eyed animal spotter, he knows the best times and places to see everything. He is constantly communicating with other guides so he knows what animals are where. 

He seems well respected throughout the parks and  knows the tracks off by heart.  

If you are looking for a guide in the area, no need to look any further. Richard, a huge thank you and I cannot wait to come and safari with you again!

We went on a 7 day Safari with Richard as our guide across 4 different parks. He is extremely knowledgable and super observant - often seeing animals long before we could spot them! Richard is a very kind person and was enjoyable to spend so much time with. One thing we appreciated very much was that in addition to guiding during the day, Richard was our de-facto advocate at the different camps we went to, ensuring we were taken care of by the staff and got the most out of our stay. For example, one camp was a little lite on the details regarding packed lunches (which was a service they offered) and Richard was very proactive with the staff to ensure they actually packed us a good picnic basket to go.

One other thing that really struck us is that once you spend a day or two with Richard you can tell he genuinely loves and respects the animals and the parks. As such, he brings a passion to guiding that really made our trip fantastic.

Richard was very knowledgeable about Tanzania, Serengeti and the Nagongora crater and conversed in excellent English. He made our trip enjoyable.
