We loved our trip to Liwonde National Park, in no small part due to the enthusiasm and knowledge of Samuel. Samuel not only made great effort to find out what we were interested in seeing, but also took us to all of the appropriate habitats for the birds we were looking for. I have learnt much about a subject I was already passionate about. Thanks to Samuel's excellent skills and friendliness, the experience was one we will never forget.

It's always great to meet a local guide who really loves his work. Samuel really knew his birds and also plants, would be great to visit Liwonde when orchids are blooming. He was very friendly and good company. I am really looking forward to seeing him again after two weeks in Malawi.

We felt that we were extremely fortunate to have Samuel as our guide. His obvious enthusiasm and love for the creatures he showed us was really outstanding. He seemed to have encyclopedic knowledge of all the animals and birds. He always took that extra step to show us things and explain them. Samuel also took the trouble to give us a copy of a video he took of some hippos. Well done Samuel and apologies for not answering more quickly.
