Samuel was fantastic. He not only knows his birds but also the trees. Not only did we see the Brown Breasted Barbet, Green Malkoha and Painted Snipe, we also had beautiful sightings of the White Backed Night Heron. It was onlt the Pell's Fishing Owl whick eluded us. We really enjoyed the time with him. He has a wonderful personality. Great! Thanks!

Hi Charles, Your group was amusing, I really enjoyed the birding of that day. Was looking challenging due to your departure time but due to your patience and interest we made it, I hope Mr Pel's Fishing Owl is inviting you to come back to Mvuu Camp-Liwonde National Park again and again!!! Samuel was our guide for the 4 days we spent at the Mvuu Lodge. He was great! He was very accommodating, knows his plants, animals, and birds, and has a great personality. He alway asked what we wanted to see and tried to make it happen. I would strongly recommend Samuel to anyone looking for an amazing guide in Liwandi.
