Wonderful Trip to Southeast

Reviewed November 26, 2017

I took a trip to Turkey in late September and against everyone's warning, I decided to visit most amazing part of Turkey - Southeast.  Taha was our guide throughout our 5 day trip from Sanliurfa to Harran to Mardin and Mountain Nemrut.

Taha was an amazing guide - extremely knowledgable, patient (we changed our minds frequently on next destination), with great love of his country - he made our trip very special.

I would highly recommend Southeast Turkey for your next vacation.  The amount of history, beautiful sights and food that is part of this region is unbelievable.  Due to government warnings, very little amount of tourist, making it even more special time to visit.

URFA - Gobleklitepe

Reviewed June 21, 2017

When we told our guide in Istanbul that we were going to Urfa to see Gobekli Tepe, he immediately suggested that we contact Taha. From the moment he welcomed us at the airport, we knew we were in safe hands. Ancient history aside...Urfa is known for its kebabs...we immediatlely had to satisfy our stomach before embarking on our journey through southeastern Anatolia to Gobleklitepe and Mesopatamia, to the Euphrates River.   The day was magical. Taha's knowledge of history is impressive without imposing it upon us.  He led us through the day with grace, generousity and kindness....and for that, I'm extremely grateful. I would highly recommend that you book a tour with Taha, he is best guide I've had and look forward to seeing him again on our next travels through Urfa.

Excellent guide.

Taha was professional and friendly right from the first time we contacted him. We always received prompt replies to our questions. The custom 2 day tour in the Sanliurfa and Harran was fantastic. He took us to some fascinating places. Taha also has in depth knowledge of the history associated with the area. He took us out from 9am until at least 6pm each day.

He is a very friendly and amiable person to spend time with. He also speaks excellent English. We would have no hesitation in recommending him as a guide.
