It's been a great pleasure to be your private Guide Mt. Yiannis, thank you for your awesome feedback.
Raed Haddad led a tour I had the honor of attending in October of 2016. He was knowledgeable, intelligent and articulate. I appreciate that he tailored his presentations to match the interests of our group. It was also wonderful that he allowed us to get to know him through late night conversations under the stars in the Wadi Rum, or over a cocktail before dinner. He shared his experiences of growing up in Jordan, and his lifelong connection to holy places. Our group was interested in Biblical sites (Jesus' baptism site, the site of the beheading of John the Baptist, the location where Moses looked out over the Promised Land) and Raed's depth of knowledge about these subjects was profound. He also showed us popular secular sites such as Petra, the Dead Sea and the Wadi Rum. His knowledge of these sites and their history is unparalleled and his passion comes through in his lectures. He is the consummate tour guide because everywhere we went, he was recognized and respected by fellow guides and site wardens. We felt like we were VIPS because we were with Raed Haddad. I whole heartedly reccomend Raed Haddad for your Jordanian tour.
Raed was chosen by the Jordanian Tourism Board to guide our small group of religious writers for a 10 day tour of the holy sites (and sights) in Jordan back around Easter, 2015. His encyclopedic knowledge of history, scripture, and his in depth knowledge of the geography of his country, coupled with his love for people, puts him at the top of the list of tour guides for this area. You will not regret hiring him, but you may regret not hiring him. Do what the JTB does: hire Raed!
