I was recently in Kathmandu and spent a day with Susan quite by chance when my plans changed and the guide I had engaged for walking tours in Kathmandu and Patan could no longer fit me in. He recommended Susan – and I ended up having a truly wonderful day. I only wish that I had found her sooner. Her English is fabulous, and her local knowledge and her attention to detail are just amazing. During my travels I have met many guides in different countries, and Susan is in my top 3.  I have no hesitation in recommending her, whatever your guiding needs in Nepal.

i higly recomand Susan for any type of tour in Nepal.She was very flexible ,very understanding.Importantly she understood what would be interesting for us.Besides that she aranged amazing Driver for us very pleasant man and trust me in Nepal with all hussle goig around you do need right people.During my travels i encountered different travel guides offering unreasonable prices for americans but Susan was not one of them.We went to the monastery the last day and she was honest straigh forward and told us that she will arrange with driver to take us there and that we will not need her but if we still want to she said that she was available.And another thing besides good explanation she is very street smart.By that i mean she knows how to push people that are bothering or asking a lot of money to take photos with.I highly highly HIGHLY reconand Susan .you will have a wonderful time

My husband and I had the pleasure of touring Kathmandu and its environs for four days in June of 2017 with Susan Manandhar. We have nothing but praise for our experience. She is very knowledgeable, very well organized and a lot of fun. We wrote to her explaining that we were interested in culture, religion and art and she organized our tour accordingly. We toured the temples and palaces of Kathmandu and surrounding towns, but we also went to small villages where we saw native artisans at their crafts, people plowing rice fields with bullocks, local religious ceremonies. Both Susan and her driver have an excellent command of English, are unfailingly courteous and thoughtful. I have never had a better guide and I travel a lot.
