As a huge lover of animals, I had wanted to visit the Galápagos Islands since I was 13, little did I realize they would end up being the second best part of our vacation. Having Mari as our guide was a wonderful surprise that will not soon be forgotten. Her passion and knowledge made every step of this trip enjoyable. Mari was so engaging and captivating, that she had us excited over ever piece of sea lion scat. I highly recommend using Mari as a guide for your travels, you won’t be disappointed. 

Our family of 6 just returned from a cruise to the Galapagos.  Mari was one of the naturalist guides on our ship and we were extremely lucky to have her lead us on most of our excursions.  She is truly awesome!  She is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about showing us the vast variety of wildlife on the islands.  She has an inner light and joy that appeals to all age groups.  She absolutely deserves the distinction of being voted in the top ten world tour guides on TourHQ.  Your Galapagos trip will be enhanced exponentially if you are lucky enough to have her as your naturalist guide.  Thank you Mari, for making our trip exceptional.

We were fortunate to have Mari as one of the naturalist guides on our recent Galapagos cruise. Her passion for the wildlife, their habitat and her country were infectious. Mari's wealth of knowledge and her genuine desire to share the beauty of the islands were impressive. In fact, many of us tried hard to be in her group for excursions. She willingly answered our many questions and had a way of letting us explore without straying too far from the group.  We also had the opportunity to share a couple of meals with her and thoroughly enjoyed the animated way in which she told us about the Galapagos Affair on Floreana Island. Mari is an exceptional guide and an asset to any excursion group. Mari, thank you for making our trip of a lifetime truly special!

Mari was one of 5 naturalists on our recent Galapagos cruise.  It didn't take long for most of us on the ship to figure out that we all wanted to be in her group!

Mari is very knowledgable about the Galapagos Islands and the animals and vegetations on the islands but what set her apart, is her PASSION for the islands and the animals.  My family and I were fortunate enough to be in her group on several occasions throughout the week and everytime, we were in awe of her extensive knowledge of the different animals and plants on these islands.  It was very obvious to us that guiding is not just a job for Mari, it is her passion!  The love she has for the animals and the islands come through in everything that she does and says.  She also has a great way of explaining things to the group and making it interesting.  We loved it when she would act out how some of the animals move!

Mari is truly a gem and is a great ambassador for the Galapagos Islands!  Thank you for spending the week with us Mari! 

Mari is an outstanding nautralist!  During a cruise we took of the Galapagos, she provided an outstanding experience. Her depth of knowledge of the Galapagos and her infectious joy was inspiring. She shared not only her knowledge of the wildlife but also the culture of the people.  She is a kind and caring person who wanted to make sure everyone saw all the wonders of the Galapagos and still be safe.
