Mari has a special feel for what she does and that is to comunicate her knowledge to her to her guests with great passion. She is a great guide and very knowledgeable on everything we came across in the Galapagos. We enjoyed being with her on our excursions. Thank you!

Excellent is really not a good enough rating for Mari! All of our guides onboard the Celebrity Experience were wonderful, enthusiastic, helpful and caring! After our first ride with her, I have to say that Mari really was the guide we wanted to be with and also the most talked about. Her knowledge and expression combined with her delivery of her information in an almost theatrical way, with honesty and sincerity definitely elevated our excitment of this once in a lifeime trip. I mean, you would think that the unique experience of being surrounded by the nature of the Galapagos could not be improved upon, but you would be mistaken, as Mari's way of 'running' her excursions was calm and relaxed and at the same time gave just the right amount of seriousness so that it kept us on our toes, ready for the next wonderful experience. With her guidance and synergy with the zodiac driver (all of them just as exceptional as our guides), we checked off "To-Do" and "To See" items from our top wants at an alarming rate! We really could not have asked for more of a guide.  Her love for Equador, the Galapagos and her job were apparent in absolutely every aspect of her personality  She the real deal,a good egg, and its our hope that our paths cross again. 

What can I say about Mari - she's the best!  We had the great opportunity to accompany Mari on several hikes and zodiac outings during our wonderful trip to the Galapagos Islands and she ensured that each experience was exciting, fun and filled with learning.  Her passion for and knowledge of these Islands is inspiring and she was able to make us realise what a very special and fragile part of the world it really is.  Her very respectful approach to the wildlife we encountered was wonderful to observe and, perhaps because of this, she always found what we were looking for!  I can't think of one outing that didn't live up to our expectations - her enthusiasm is infectious!  Thank you Mari - you helped make our trip to the Galapagos Islands a dream come true. 

Mari was our guide during our recent trip to the Galápagos Islands. She had such a wonderful way with people, always genuine and generous in her interactions with us but it was her way with the wildlife of galapagos  that was such a treat. She is like the animal whisperer. Because of her great love for all creatures and her respect for them, her approach is gentle and quiet. Whenever we were with Mari we saw so many more species because of her  approach. Mari was so genuinely excited to share her discoveries with us; she made us feel as though we'd won the lottery when ever we came across on new creature in the wild. We feel privileged to have had her as our guide.
