I took seven people with me on an amazing vacation to South Africa. Jeremy is amazing. He was such a great addition to my experience. When I visit next year, I'll have him drive us around again!

My wife and I traveled to South Africa for our belated honeymoon during the Christmas break and began our South African experience in Stellenbosch. Jeremy was our guide for a wine tour on 27/12/15, but he was so much more! Possessing a deeply rich knowledge of the area, its history, and the people and places in and around the Cape, Jeremy was a first-rate guide and an absolute pleasure to speak with. Although the wineries he took us to were first rate - stunningly beautiful with world-class customer service - it was the side trips ( for example, to Victor Verster prison - the last institution Mandela served at before his release) and Jeremy's company that were the highlights of our time. Subsequently, we spent several days in Cape Town and went on safari to conclude our trip, but it was Jeremy's efforts and tremendous personality that started our time off in the Rainbown Nation right!

Jeremy is an expert guide. He went out of his way to make sure that we had an exceptional travel experience. He planned our activities and coordinated everything so we would get the most out of every excursion. He accommodated our every request, be it perfecting the weather (yes he even controlled the weather making it perfect) or stopping for a special photo opportunity. He knew his way around Cape Town and Franschoek and made sure we always had that extra time for whatever we desired. He was pleasant and gracious and enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed his. If we ever have the opportunity to return to Africa, Jeremy will be by our side!

Since 2000, I've led an annual tour group of Americans to various parts of southern Africa. Suffice it to say that Jeremy Knowles is easily one of the two best guides I have ever used – and the best guide I’ve had in the Western Cape. As a life-long Capetonian, former high school history and English teacher, and great storyteller, he provides an excellent personalized experience. During our August 2014 trip: while having lunch at the Two Oceans Restaurant, while Jeremy was away from the table, a driver from another tour group came to our table and told us that we had the best guide in the Cape.
