Hem is a perfect guide and friendly and nice person. We walked with him 14 days in the annapurna region and it was one of the best trips in my life. He knows a lot about the nature, the culture and he share its knowlegde. After this trip he helps us to organize some tickets and so on. This is not the normal behavior for a "normal" guide. Hem is like a friend, not like a guide.

When i come back to this nice country, i will use his skills and knowledge again.

Hem is an outstanding guide.  Everything was effortless when organizing our custom two week journey trekking through the Himalaya with him.  He was easy to communciate with and responded quickly.  He helped us organize all of our permits etc., accommodation, rental sleeping bags and walking poles prior to arrival in Nepal.

We always felt safe with Hem, even if we came across a tricky path or had to change our direction due to weather - he always knew what to do.  His calm and friendly demeanor always ensured an enjoyable trek.  We really appreciate his ability to be flexible, it made the journey comfortable and stress free.

What I find the most valuable about Hem is his vast knowledge.  You can see how passionate he is about his country because he really takes the time to understand it's history, people, and culture.  He was so willing to share all of that information with us and we really feel like we got to understand Nepal in a way that many other travellers don't.  He taught us a lot about the history of Nepal, food, culture and also language.  Because he took the time to teach me how to  speak many useful phrases, it allowed me to navigate Nepal over the following 2.5 months with ease.  He also gave excellent suggestions of things for us to do after leaving Pokhara.  I saw many other guides engage with their groups while trekking and none of them ever gave the kind of quality information or depth that Hem shared.  I believe that if you truly want to know Nepal, not just surface level ideas of Nepal - then Hem is the perfect guide.

We were lucky enough to spend some extra time with Hem and his family after the trek.  I think that he went far above our expectations as a guide and truly became a friend.  We absolutely adored all of the amazing stories and poems he would share.  It made for a journey and memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.  Whenever we come back to trek in Nepal - there is only one guide we will ever need.

Hem is an excellent guide and a very nice and likeable person. He is well educated and tells you a lot about the country, the religion, the people... We had a very good time with him and whenever we come back to Nepal, he will be our choice again. You can rely 100% on him. He took good care of our sons when they got sick for 1 day, so we could continue trekking in order to meet them 2 days later.

Hem is a very open and caring person on whom we could rely all the time. He took good care of us and knows his way around the Himalayas very well! After a short time he was more of a friend to us than a booked guide. He told us a lot about the Nepalese culture, society and history and often made us feel good with his funny way. He even got us the Permits and Tims in advance and was very responsive to each of our specific wishes regarding the route and the daily routine. We would always recommend him and book him again! Hem was our guide for a half day tour of Pokhara and a 2 days trek to Australian Camp. He was really friendly and showed is professionalism throughout the entire time we spent together. He is an outgoing person and easy to talk with. We particularly appreciated his ability to have all kinds of conversations, from local culture and religion to the geological formation of the mountains, without forgetting a special eye for poetry!
