I am the first time in Nepal and visit the capital of this fascinating country. In order to explore the mystery of this country, people's life and religion I bought trips in my hotel. I thought that, as before, in other places in the world, trips will be rather boring, running in a hurry and chaos. A very nice surprise met me, because the guide Mr Badri Nepal devoted a huge amount of time and commitment, so that I could see and understand everything. He showed great experience and knowledge.

I recommend to all of you visiting tourist places with Mr. Badri Nepal, and I personally thank him once again.

We did a tour through Kathmandu, two half days. 

First day was to Boudanath Stupa & Pashupatinath.

Second day was to Durbar Square and surroundings (like the old marketplaces).

Mr. Badri is a great guide and explained everything very calm and clear. With a lots of nice side information about cultural differences and religion.

He was very flexible when we wanted to have a quick snack or lunch during the tour and showed us the best (local) places to eat as well.

Highly recommend Badri to take you on a guided tour!

Today, I was with my wife and Mr. Badri Nepal as a guide on a tour of the Durbar Palace in Kathmandu and after the intriguing and mysterious places of the Thamel. His commitment, knowledge and courtesy were impressive. Thanks to it, we could see many interesting places unnoticeable for tourists visiting Thamel, for example shops hidden in the back streets that have preserved the charm of past centuries, we have tried traditional Nepalese dishes, we have learned the colorful history of visited places.

Meeting Mr. Badri Nepal was really a great pleasure.

It was only a short half day tour of boudhanath stupa and Pashupatinath Temple with Mr Badri Nepal. With a strong command of the English language and a vast knowledge of the history & culture of Nepal, it was never a tour but a true in-depth learning journey. He never fails to meet my expections and would pace himself according to my needs to cover the site. As a bonus, he ever took me away from the tourist crowd  and brought me to good vantage point of both sites where I could sit down and admire the view . Travelling as a solo tourist, there was never an awkward moment with Mr  Badri Nepal, thanks to his warm personality. He truly encompass what Namaste really means to the Nepalese people. He's not just a guide, but a Nepalese friend you would be thankful for meeting.
