The first stop of our first trip to Myanmar was Bagan. Ei picked us up at the aiport and from the first moment we saw her we knew she must be amazing. Ei is always friendly, always smiling and she always has an interesting fact to tell.
We spent incredible three days together, visiting the amazing temple field with thousands of temples, climbing pagodas, having lunch in a traditional restaurant under a tree, visiting villages, joining a traditional festival in a village on the way to Mt. Popa, trying palm wine, eating traditional snacks, watching the sunset over Ayeyarwaddy river sitting on a sandbank, having a romantic traditional dinner, ... to put it briefly, Ei showed us the history and presence of Bagan in a wonderful way.
I love that Ei is teaching children English and shows them how to recycle plastics, always trying to give the people of Bagan a bright future. She is certainly the best and most authentic tourguide we ever had, so we can clearly recommend booking a tour with her to anybody. Not to forget that she is a wonderful and very talented photographer!
Dear Ei, thanks for treating us like family from the first moment on, thanks for showing us your world, thanks for always being so kind and thanks for the beautiful pictures that will always remind us of the amazing time we spent in Bagan. We will be back!
