We had a fully catered and guided tour with Gillian and Ralph Louw from AfricanSunroad. They made our walking trip a very memorable one!  Gillian spoiled us  -  the meals (we had about 5 eating sessions per day) were outstanding and always delicious.  Thank you so much for your kindness and all your knowledge you shared with us.  We enjoyed the evening stories as well.  All of the best for your future in tourism.  

We went on a guided and catered tour with Gillian and her husband Ralph. We had the absolute best time! They are so knowledgeable and passionate about what they do,  and being able to relax after a day of hiking is amazing when it is topped of with one of Gillian’s mouth wathering meals! Tea time and a short rest at 10am, is another perk of hiking with them, especially when you can do so while watching whales play! Thank for making this the best possible experience

Ralph and Gilly were our guides on the whale trail we completed on the 12th of October 2018. They took such good care of us and all we had to concentrate on was to enjoy the sight seeing and get from point a to be. I really enjoyed the fact that they had so much knowledge of all the animals and plants we saw on the trail and that includes everything I got to learn about Southern right whales and humpback whales. The food Gilly and Ralph prepared for us was amazing and to meet people that have so much passion and love for nature was truly an amazing experience!

I would without a doubt recommend Ralph and Gilly as tour guides for anyone interested in doing something like the wail trail!

The Whale Trail has truly been an amazing experience. Especially thanks to Gill and Ralph. The food was great, as well as the company. I would highly recommend!!

I had the most perfect day on this wonderful hike guided by Ralph and Gill.  The area is one of outstanding beauty, but I would have missed so much to notice and understand about the flora, birds, animals and history without the Louw’s very helpful input.  Our’s was a small group of people who quickly got to know each other and enjoyed Gill and Ralph’s relaxed and friendly attitude to imparting their knowledge along the way.  We had a lot of fun and learnt a lot whilst enjoying a good healthy walk surrounded by fabulous nature.
