It was my first visit in Cape Town, and I had a great 1 day tour experience with George. It was a private tour and he took me almost all of the places I wanted to go ( I didn't go Table Mountain because the queue was too long. It was not his fault!). 

I will definitely ask him a guide again next time. I totally recommend him to my friends!

We experienced a “trip of a lifetime” to Africa in September. George Meyer was our guide while in Cape Town. His enthusiasm, attention to detail and wealth of knowledge for the area was outstanding. If we were ever able to return to this beautiful continent, George would be our choice to guide our trip.  His has an easy going mannerism yet without  a doubt, he does his dual diligence behind the scenes to make certain your experience traveling in a foreign country is flawless. 

George Meyer met 6 of us at the airport in Cape Town. He immediately gave us a warm welcome. From the beginning, his passion for his country in how he communicated with us in showing us Cape Town and surrounding areas put permanent smiles on our faces. Every detail of our trip was taken care of and communicated to us to leave us enjoying the journey and never having to think or worry about the details.

We would like to add that we are world travelers using some big name touring companies. This year alone we are on our sixth journey with two more to go. We bring this up only to say our standards are high. George’s performance was one of the best we had the pleasure to experience. He’s a keeper, a friend for life!!

George was a fantastic guide on our tour of Cape Town! He was engaging, upbeat, knowledgeable and downright fun to be around! He knows so much about the history and culture of Cape Town, and we just felt so lucky he could share that knowledge with us. Our trip definitely wouldn't have been the same without him. George added the magic  tour of the Garden Route.  We changed our plans from originally driving ourselves, to having a guide.  George changed the special into the exceptional, his intimate knowledge from spending time in the area as youth, let us go of the beaten track, literally, discovering some of the culture and wilderness of the area.  We experienced the remoteness  of the early European settlers in the failed attempt to establish a silk industry, remote beaches from George’s youth. Very special was our tour of Knysna’s Township and the fantastic work done by “Peggy” in supporting this community.

We spent the evenings in some special restaurants, selected by George and met some of the boutique winemakers of the area.  Our experienced was so much enhanced by George’s guidance.
