During my 3 days in New Orleans, I did back to back to back tours. Out of all of them, Randy's walking tour of the French Quarter was my FAVORITE! He is charismatic and a wealth of knowledge. Book a tour with him and you will NOT be disappointed!

very funny, clearly very knowledgeable about what he spoke about, charismatic, good at improvising and had interesting tidbits about past tours he'd done that added to the history he was discussing. seems like a great guy!
Ok so we got there a little early and got to chat with Randy before the rest of our group arrived. He's was funny and charming as anything!! My friends and I adored him immediately and once the rest of our group arrived Randy made everyone feel like we were about to begin a grand adventure, and he didn't disappoint!! I learned so much and unlearned what I thought I knew about New Orleans! I can't stress enough that Randy really knows his stuff, and is completely dedicated to preserving the real and fascinating history of the city! I was very impressed and grateful that I was able to tour the cemetery with him specifically!! Do yourself a favor and request him personally!! Thank you so much Randy!! You were a highlight of our trip and our reunion was that much more special because of it! Thank you sweetie!!
My boyfriend and I planned a last minute trip to New Orleans this past weekend. We had no other activities planned rather than eating and drinking. We decided to do a tour after realizing you can only eat and drink so much. We weren't sure what to expect because neither of us had done a tour like this before but we were more than thrilled with our experience with Randy. He was very knowledgeable and personable and we never felt like he was reading off a cue card. He truly loved what he was telling about and he had a true passion for his work. I would love to bring my children to New Orleans now and have them take a tour with Randy. My boyfriend and I have both said that we will look for places that offer tours to visit because of this experience and that this tour was the highlight of our trip. Thank you Randy!

My partner and I stumbled across Randy's St. Louis Cemetery #1 tour when we arrived at the gates on our own. We didn't know this but it is against the rules to visit on your own . . . you have to go with a guide, and we were assigned to Randy. I'm so glad we were!!! Randy was so knowlegable and entertaining, he transformed what might have been a ten-minute cursory look-see on our own into an hour of really fascinating (and even fun) information, relating the NOLA funerary customs seamlessly to the history, culture, and lore of the city over centuries--and tying all of these into the world at large in a way so few people have the knowledge or capability to do. Afterward, my partner and I seriously discussed scheduling another trip to NOLA just to be shown around by Randy. We met him on the last day of our trip, and despite all of the touring we had already done (three other tour guides and a walking tour from a book), we felt like we hadn't experienced the city at all until we spent an hour with Randy in the cemetery. It was a joy to experience a master of a craft at work in his element.
