Great tour.  Two teenagers in tow and they loved every minute of the two hour ghost tour.  Randy is a pleasure to listen to due to his enthusiastic delivery and incredibly indepth knowledge of the history of so much of the area. One gets the feeling that he knows a lot more about each building than he has time to pass on.  Highly recommend.

We had the great pleasure of having Randy guide us on our first day in New Orleans. From the onset of the tour Randy displayed a comprehensive knowledge of the French Quarter's rich history. He was extremely knowledgable and you could see that he had spent decades thoroughly researching the history behind each stop on the tour. We learned about New Orleans' Creole heritage and how the Mississippi River has had strategic/economic value to the city, among many other fascinating facts and stories. Randy was also clear to point out the myths and misinformation that had spread about New Orleans. He prided himself on offering a vivid, historically accurate tour based on facts and research, not conjecture. I have never had a tour guide as intelligent, witty, and charasmatic as Randy. He is a brilliant historian whose passion for New Orleans is unmistakable. There is simply no better tour guide than Randy. 

If you want a tour solely based on the facts, with all of the entertainment but none of the fluff, this is the tour guide to choose! I went on his tour of the French Quarter and the information he presented us with deepened my understanding and appreciation of the city, I ended up going on all the tours he offered and each one was better than the next. His sassy, fun-loving personality was the cherry on top and helped make my time in New Orleans unforgettable. I will DEFINITELY be using his services again next time I visit and I can't wait until that time comes.
