We had the pleasure of taking a walking tour in the Garden District with Randy. He was prompt, knowledgable, and extremely interesting to listen to. Our conceriege tipped us off to this tour, and we couldn't have been happier with the recommendation. A definite must do!

I have been on several tours with Randy. He believes in giving a historical correct tour with a lot of good info. At the same time he gives his info in a fun and enjoyable way. I think anyone would have a good time on a tour guided by Randy. I have given his name to all of my friends that are going to New Orleans. He is my only Guide.

We went on three different tours in New Orleans and our tour with Randy of the St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 was by far the best. I wish we did all of our tours with him while we were there. Randy is very interesting, knowledgeable and passionate. Highly recommended.
I signed up for four walking tours while in New Orleans, and was lucky enough to have Randy as my guide for two of the four (Cemetery tour and Ghost tour). This is a man who is not only super-knowledgeable about the area, but is truly passionate about educating others about New Orleans history. He is quite personable, and I felt like he wasn't a tour guide, but more of an uncle I hadn't seen in years. Touring with Randy definitely felt less like a tourist excursion and more like hanging out with a good friend who knew all the back story of the area. I learned things from him I wouldn't have learned elsewhere!
We enjoyed the garden district tour with Randy. He was very knowledgeable, and we were lucky that 4 other people didn't show, so basically my husband and I had Randy all to ourselves. Randy was entertaining and did a great job. You can ask him any question about New Orleans; but, he is sensitive to the topic of Katrina, so just don't ask questions about that! I would do another tour with Randy!

Thanks, Linda, for the nice review! It was great hanging out with you! Small, intimate tours are my preference - I make new friends that way. :) Also thanks for mentioning Katrina. It's something I would like to address. I'll post an article soon to help people understand.
