Après avoir rencontré janaka il a su nous orienter et nous négocier des bons prix et nous organiser de bon plan dans région de minneriya Nous avons pu de se fait profiter d'une belle expédients à dos d'éléphant ainsi que d'un safari oú l'on a pu voir des éléphants et d'autre animaux dans leur habitacle naturel. Janaka nous a emporter dans toute la région de sigiriya. Nous avons fait une promenade en elephant et un safari dans le Park National de Mineriya. Il nous a donner des bons deals. Les prix etaient les mêmes comme dans la guide du Routard. Il nous a pris par sa voiture moderne et il ne conduit pas comme un foux comme les autres chauffeurs ici! Myself and my wife (26 and 27), travelled to Sri Lanka in June/July 2015 and we hired Janaka for our entire trip. On making contact with Janaka first, he provided a very comprehensive schedule of activities for the two week period that we planned to stay in Sri Lanka. We made some adjustments to this as we tried to find the balance between tourism and R&R. There were no issues with this on his part and he was very quick in responding to us. He ensured to answer all of our queries and apprehensions before our departure to Sri Lanka. We were greeted by Janaka at 1:30 am at Colombo airport and he drove us to Dambulla as soon as we left the airport (a 4 hour journey through the night/early morning). On the trips themselves, he was very informative and regularly pulled the car over in order to purchase some local fruit and to point out some indigenous wildlife and plants not to mention the amazing landscape offered by Sri Lanka. These stops offered great photo opportunities. The car itself was a very comfortable hybrid car and his driving was of a very high standard which cannot be faulted. Janaka himself was very well presented, and was a very nice guy. He was certainly looking out for our best interests prior to and during our trip. We would certainly recommend using him as a tour guide (and furthermore, it is a must that you hire a tour guide for your stay in Sri Lanka - the roads are not for the feint hearted). It is also highly adviseable to have a native speaker on your trip if you are sightseeing. We will be advising our friends to visit Sri Lanka and based on our experience with Janaka, we will certainly recommend his services.
