We toured Sicily with Marcello in early 2014 on a Grand Circle tour. It was an excellent experience because Marcello helped the group become a group and made Sicily come alive. His enthusiasm and love of his home country made us all enjoy the tour even more. I feel sorry for anyone touring the area that does not have Marcello as tour director because I suspect he has no equal. If all our tours had a tour director of Marcello's knowledge, skill and enthusiasm, the world would be a truly wonderful place. Highly Recommend!

During February/March 2014 we enjoyed a Grand Circle tour of Sicily. Marcello Torrisi was our tour leader. Marcello has exceptional enthusiasm, knowledge and ability to manage the logistics of the tour. Most importantly, he cared for the personal needs and interests of each member of the tour. Marcello is an outstanding tour guide! He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, helpful and fun (smile). He very considerate of special needs; gives many suggestions for things to see/do that are not included in the itinerary; and, loves to share his country. Marcello is one of the best tour leaders that I have encountered in the last 15 years that I have been traveling.

I took a tour of Sicily last year with Marcello as our guide. He is wonderful, worked very hard to see that all details were covered. I can speak for my travel companions also, we all felt the tour was wonderful largely because of Marcello. His knowledge of history, ability to flow with whatever was needed. It was easy to see that he put us first and listened to what we were curious about and made sure that we were satisfied. I would be happy to travel with his as a guide anytime. I rate him the highest.
