There are not enough words to describe what a wonderful guide Marcello was. He went out of his way to be helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. No question was left unanswered or need unaddressed!

Marcello has outstanding qualifications as a guide. His deep knowledge and affection for Sicily, along with excellent communication skills made our trip one of the best we've taken. While we were in Sicily together, Marcello was able to enhance our experience and ameliorate any difficulties. I would highly recommend Marcello.

We were so happy to have Marcello Torrisi as our Grand Circle tour director. He contacted us prior to our trip with a great welcoming message and gave us a special welcome meeting when we arrived at the hotel. He was a really caring listener and cared for all of our needs during the tour. It was especially difficult for him as so many in our group became ill . Marcello handled it all so professionally. He managed to getting physicians' care and prescription medicines for those who needed them, too. He shared so much about his country and answered our questions in a knowledgeable manner. We had special little "Discovery" stops that were of interest to us, i.e. tasting tangerines and oranges! We have had e-mail contact regarding my husband's health follow-up when we returned home, too. "Excellent" is too small a word to describe Marcello as a trip director!

Marcello is an amazing guide. We had wonderful food at some of the restaurants he recommended. When I was under the weather, he went out at night and picked up my prescriptions. I only wish I could take more trips with him! He deserves more than 5 stars!

Sicily is beautiful but Marcello made it amazing. His knowledge, sense of humor and great concern for all on the trip, surpassed all of my expectations. Going forward, when I return to Sicily, Marcello will be the first call I make. He took great care of my mom and ensured that everyone on his tour had a VIP experience.
