Marcelllo told us  that he is busy  but he recommended us Eleonora. She was very  informative, bur not only... she was our friend and partner during this interesting excursion. We have 3 generations of travellers ans all of us liked her so much! Thank you, Eleonora! You are brilliant!

Marcello did an outstanding job as a tour director.  He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, witty, understands his clients needs, makes sure everyone is safe & secure, and tells wonderful stories especially about his family.  These qualities and skills are part of every tour director's job description, however very few can check all the boxes, Marcello can.  He is very passionate about his country/island of Sicily.  At the end of the trip he was not only our tour director he was a friend.  Bravo Marcello!!!!!

I just returned from an OAT trip to Sicily, where I had the GREAT (!!) pleasure of meeting Marcello. As a guide and tour leader, he is knowledgeable and full of fun and energy. We (14 of us) all learned a lot about this wonderful island, and enjoyed its great and ancient ruins, its cuisine, and its people. Marcello made all this come alive and I am fortunate to have had this experience, He also shared many of his wonderful photos with us....

Working with Marcello was a highlight of our trip to Italy, and if you are able to book him for your visit, I would most highly recommend him. From start to finish Marcello is a professional - prepared, knowledgable, enthusiastic, funny, understanding and engaging. We were a group of three generations, ranging in age from 70 to 12. Marcello planned the perfect series of activities for us. He researched our family history and took us on a walking tour of their former town, adjusted his plans to find something that my teenage children would love, and fielded all our questions easily and with love for Sicily and it's rich and varied history and terrain. My whole family really enjoyed Marcello and got so much out of trip - we learned about history, art, agriculture, WWII, architecture, and how people happily co-exist with Mt. Etna.
