Ahmed was a fantastic guide during our stay in Tunisia; he is reliable, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. He messaged us beforehand and collected us from the airport (with gifts of sweets), and was very patient as we tried to find the obscure address of our Airbnb. He later took us on a day trip to Kairouan to visit the Great Mosque and El Djem to see the amphitheatre. It was a fascinating trip, with Ahmed providing explanations and the historical background to what we saw, as well as lots of laughs along the way. We really felt like we were in safe hands, and his car is ideal for such a long trip. He also took us to the airport for our early morning return flight, which we appreciated. All in all, Ahmed really made our visit to Tunisia special.

If you need a man to show you Tunisia, look no further than Ahmed! He was waiting for us at the airport with a big smile and three boxes of sweets, and things just got better from there. A former military man, Ahmed is very serious about being punctual - but not particularly serious as a whole. He loves chatting - in fluent French and English, as well as Arabic - and enjoys a joke. However, he is also passionate about his country's culture and history, knows its main sites inside out, and is the kind of bloke who knows the 'right' people everywhere he takes you. Ahmed clearly cares about his clients (he even helped haggle a carpet down for me), has all the answers, and, on the practical side, drives a nice new car with air conditioning. Top man!

Hamdi provided us with an amazing tour of the old town of Tozeur, Chebika, and iconic Star Wars locations like Mos Espa and Ong Jemal. Our tour guide went out of his way to get my wife a traditional cake for her birthday at Café Berbère. This tour group truly went above and beyond to ensure their customers were happy.

When we arrived in Tunis all our needs were met with great meticulousness & attention. I booked a tour with Ahmed around Tunisia on the 1st week of November. Ahmed welcomed me at the airport with Tunisian delights and dates! The trip run very smoothly due to Ahmed’s flexibility and willingness to show me his country. On my first day, I was taken to spend the afternoon and evening with Ahmed’s family. I felt very welcome, like a new member of his family, and was offered plenty of lovely food. His family is absolutely delightful and great fun. It was very insightful to spend time with Tunisian people and experience how they live. Ahmed is not an historian or an archaeologist; he provided some information during our visits but if you would like more history, I recommend booking a local guide for some of the locations (Ahmed can assist with this). I would have liked to gain more knowledge when I visited Dougga Roman ruins, but the local guide was not available on that day. Make sure you book one in advance if you are keen to have more historic facts. Ahmed was very attentive taking me to very nice restaurants with delicious food! He also went the extra mile to show me places not included in my tour and souvenir shopping
