I contacted Praveen through tourHQ and hired him for 6 days during our recent visit to Srilanka. He offered very reasonable rates as compared to the other car hire companies with no hidden or extra charges. Prior to my visit he helped me in making good itinerary and also suggested me good hotels. He also helped me in booking some hotels as these were not available on the travel websites due to the busy season. He also holds valid licence from Srilankan Travel Authority, which gives him an edge over other non-licensed drivers. On our arrival at the Srilanka, we met him at the airport and found him very humble, decent, reliable and knowledgeable person. His car was also very clean and he is maintaining it in a very good condition. We really felt comfortable and safe traveling with him as he is also a very good driver. During the tour, he took us to the many good places on our way which otherwise we would have missed. As he knows all the places very well in Srilanka, he was very helpful in finding out good Halal restaurants for us. At one place where we found our hotel not good, he helped us out of the way in finding other reasonable hotel. Another big positive of him is that he is very flexible and does not restrict him to any time limits during the day. He was always ready at the given time and he didn’t mind staying late with us at few occasions. I think that my decision to hire him was the best and to me he is the no. 1 tour guide in Srilanka. We really enjoyed our tour with him and we felt as if we are travelling in our own car with one of our family member.
