My husband and I went on Safari in Tanzania and Richard (from Good Earth Tours) was our tour guide for 4 days. He was so lovely! He had an abundance of knowledge about all plants and animals. He had a genuine love for the animals and nature. He knew where to find things, he'd make such an effort to make sure we saw the animals that we were very keen to see. We went on a 4 day, 3 night safari over New Year and it was a huge deal for us, we researched so many tour companies and couldn't decide as we wanted it to be perfect. We didn't book this until the very last minute and we feel very blessed we ended up with Richard as our guide. He was very friendly, accommodating, interesting & knowledgable. Richard knew where to go to see what we wanted & easily answered any questions we had. We managed to see the big 5 plus loads more. Richard is also very conscientious and kind, he looks out for the safety of others and not just those in the group which we found very sweet as other guides weren't always looking out for their groups let alone others. I would definitely recommend choosing Richard, he made our New Year extra special and something we will remember forever.

My husband and I are so grateful that Richard was our guide for our safari during our recent visit to Tanzania. First of all, he is extremely kind, thoughtful and just a pleasure to spend time with. Secondly, he is incredibly knowledgeable regarding every aspect pertaining to such a trip. I cannot believe how much information he was able to provide to answer our questions about the wildlife, the ecosystem, and even the culture and history of Tanzania. He is obviously well educated and loves his work. We saw all "big 5" animals plus some that we never expected. Some of the animals included lions, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, hyenas, ostriches, and many more. We witnessed the Great Migration and Richard explained the migration patterns of the animals and what that actually means for the animals and the environment. We even saw a baby rhino with its mother, which is extremely rare because they are endangered and can only have one baby every seven years. Richard has a great eye and spotted animals that we would have missed without him, camouflaged in their environment. Richard truly goes above and beyond what is expected for his clients and you will feel like you are on vacation with a friend when you are with him. Did a 4 day safari of the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti! Richard was an excellent guide who was able to get us to all the hot spots. He has a great eye, and we were able to see all of the "Big 5" successfully, along with MANY others. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and terrain, and was able to answer all of our many questions. He is also a very nice guy who was extremely accommodating, and made us feel very comfortable during our first African experience. Thank you, Richard, for an amazing experience!
