SAM CHIHANA - MVUU 2017

Reviewed October 20, 2017

Sam was my guide on the Nyika in 2009 and at Mvuu in Oct 2017. He is an excellent guide with extensive knowledge of all flora and fauna. He communicates his knowledge in an interesting way and, if unsure of an answer, will say that he is unsure and will research the correct information and advise the customer of the result at the first opportunity. His enthusiasm is infectious and communicates this to his customers. He is meticulous in his care for customers and the natural environment.

Amazing Samuel !

Reviewed August 24, 2017

Wonderful ! Samuel spends all his life with animals and plants. All his money is dedicated to new books about Nature. He knows exactly how to share his knowledge and, maybe most important, he carefully receives all the new biological informations from his guests. Malawi needs people like Samuel. Thanks again from Patrick Blanc and Pascal Heni.

Samuel guide at Mvuu camp

Reviewed August 21, 2017

Samuel was an excellent guide during our group's stay at Mvuu camp. He cared for our group's comfort and kept us informed of all what were seeing during the tour. He is very knowledgeable about the wildlife in that area. Our group really enjoyed learning from him. He answered all of our questions with many details.

I will definitely recommend Samuel as a competent tour guide.

review of Samuel Chihana

Reviewed May 26, 2017

Samuel guided me and my husband  from Mvuu Lodge in April and he was an excellent guide, full of knowledge and also such a friendly guy. He was so excited to see a Caspian tern for the first time in Malawi, and helped me identify insects and plants well. A great birder too. All in all it was a pleasure being guided by him

River Shire Adventure

Reviewed April 6, 2017

Samuel was an excellent guide. He made a point of meeting with us the day before and tailored his tour to our requests. Not only is he very knowledgeable about birds and other widkllife, he also knows how to put his knowledge across in an accessible way. We were a mixed group in terms of our knowledge of birds and Malawi, and all of us rated Samuel very highly. He is also friendly, and an unflappable driver.
