Samuel's enthusiam, energy and deep knowledge of the wildlife of Mvuu really made our trip - he found and shared some of the most memorable wildlife watching experiences of my life, which ranged from watching elephants 'dance' over electric fences to seeing a kingfisher catch and eat a fish at very close quarters. Very special. He also went that extra mile, going through bird lists and sharing photos of plants and flowers in the evenings. A true professional. We enjoyed his company, thank you so much!

Samuel is a pure enthusiast, through and through, and his enthusiasm is catching. He is one of those rare people who can speak with deep knowledge and expertise, but make it absolutely interesting, relevant and clear to non-specialists. We really appreciated how much we learnt from him about how to observe birds and animals - he makes you notice stuff you wouldn't otherwise (such as the elephants pretending to eat whilst really watching us) and he has a great sense of humour. He made our trip to Mvuu really special.

Hi Sue, Thank you very much for your visit to Mvuu Camp. I really enjoyed your company, I would not have enjoyed such good sightings without you coming to visit Malawi. I also learnt a lot from your interests you showed which led us to such a wonderful time. I am looking forward to see you again s More

It is rare that you have a guide that is enthusiastic about his subject and his country and is very knowledgeable about the natural history of his country. He was leading a group of 8 fussy people from the UK and calmly dealt with all of us very well. Mvuu has great and he dealt with problems at Zomba very well under pressure. We wish we could have longer with him, maybe at another national park.

Hi Steve, Thank you very much!! Am happy to hear from you. I also learnt a lot from all of you in that Nature Trek x8 group. Did you see that photo of Yellow throated Apalis our friend in that group took in Zomba? She said it was the best photo compared with all photos she saw on the Internet. She More
sent it to me, it is fantastic. Was great to meet you again at the Airport when you were leaving for South Luangwa Zambia. That time I was dropping my other birding guest who was going to Zambia from there I met him again at Mvuu Lodge-Liwonde National Park at the Air Strip, he flew in from Zambia. He took a lot of birds' photos. Greetings to all our lovely friends, Samuel Lenard Chihana. Less

I have been at Mvuu several times. samuel is the best guide so far. The others have been great, but Samuel is dedicated and has great knowledge of both birda, animals and plants. And he is a friendly guy as well.
