We had only a short time in Nepal, and we found Susan Manandhar through Tour HQ. She made our trip fantastic. We were in India, and the Nepal was a last minute add-on. I asked her to help me plan and itinerary, and she came up with great ideas. Communication was excellent--I sent a request through Tour HQ and heard back promptly. She was in touch before our time in Nepal and sent detailed information about where to meet, what we were doing, and so on. We had a private driver and then Susan helped us see all the sites we wanted to. She filled us in on everything we saw and also answered many of our questions. We felt that we had her full attention the whole time, and she also helped answer questions about visas, money exchange and so on. She made a lot of suggestions about on-our-own activities as well, which was great. One thing I appreciated was there was no pressure to buy or visit places to make purchases. She only helped when we asked. Beautiful country and having Susan as a guide made the trip seamless. Highly highly recommend!!

Last weekend I had a wonderful tour with Susan in Kathmandu. She is full of passion for her country and perfect in sharing her knowledge. We had interesting talks and walks and I was happy to find a female guide as a female solo traveller. Overall a perfect experience and I will for sure come back and book her again. Namaste, I just completed an overnight tour of Khatmandu, Bhaktapur and Nagarkot with Susan Manandhar from Tour HQ. 

From the get-go, Susan was responsive to my questions and interests, even before I arrived in Nepal. Once I landed in Kathmandu, she expertly led me through her hometown city, interpreting the various cultures that intermix in this fascinating metropolis. Through the plazas, markets and back alleys of Bhaktapur, Susan showed me why this an important UNESCO World Heritage Site and not to be missed on any Nepal trip. 

A spontaneous stop at a locals-only momo stand now stands one of my all-time favorite meals. Then, I spent a night at a charming country inn in Nagarkot, where I was able to take photos of a Himalayan sunrise right from my private deck. 

I highly recommend Susan as a guide in Nepal, as I came away from this tour with a deep impression of the country and its cultures, peoples and landscapes, thanks to her. I would most definitely hire her again the next time I visit this wonderful country. As Susan taught me, NEPAL: Never Ending Peace and Love.
