Before embarking on our epic Nepali adventure with Anil, we had few expectations of the adventures to come. 3 weeks on, we still can't get the sounds, tastes and deeply spiritual sights out of our heads and hearts.

If you're after a truly local experience including unforgettable rituals on the ground, home cooked meals supporting community causes, Himalayan views from the sky and moments that even make your tour guide's jaw drop, Anil's your man. He also catered towards the needs of our group exceptionally well and used his great relationships to organise an amazing Mandhala painting workshop for us last minute upon request. Not to mention playing the harmonica on a hilltop at sunset for us. What a romantic!

Anil Manandhar is an amazing human being.......Guide by profession with a Passion for Music ( plays the Harmonica like a Professional ! ) and a philanthropic streak which sees him help lots of underprivileged Children in Nepal !! He and his wife Susan planned a Dream Vacation for us in Nepal complete with some Fabulous Resorts, The Mountain Flight close to Everest, a vist to Pokhara and some gentle Treks thrown in :)) They introduced us to some delicious local Cuisine and the best of Nepali culture. There was never a dull moment with boisterous singalongs in the car and lots of intellectual stimulation over meals :))

We found Anil after doing some research on tour guides that could help to arrange our short stay in Kathmandu. We texted him some days before arrival to talk about the cost and we decided to meet at our hotel. We liked him from the first moment we met. Anil has always been very punctual, honest and friendly. He explains everything in a very clear way.

He took us around with his car to show us the Unesco sites in the Kathmandu valley, always ready to share his knowledge with us. We also did one day hiking in Nagarkot, a place near Kathmandu. The trip was beautiful and we enjoyed it a lot.

We would highly recommend Anil to everyone who is going to stay in Nepal and needs a guide, we had a very good time with him and we would definitely contact him again. We couldn't hope for a better guide than Anil.

This man is just amazing tour guide! I can’t imagine a better guide then Anil. He showed me all important and nice places around Kathmandu. He has such a big knowledge about religions and Nepal and can explain everything very nice. Anil is very human man with love. He gives me a big knowledge of Hinduismus and Budismus. I spend my whole trip with him. Most of Nepal people are unpunctual. But Anil is the opposite. He knows the roads around Kathmandu very well and was always on time. He is also a very talented musician, because of that, you will never be bored. Its doesn’t matter if you want have a trip with alone or with a big group. Anil will be the perfect guide!
