Would definitely recommend Alex as your tour guide, he was amazing and very well organised, me and my female friends felt very safe with him and his associates while we were on our trips out.

We honestly thought about trekking into Banjul on our own...but we are so glad we didn't! Alex was amazing - his knowledge of his country is impressive. He was kind, thoughtful and was flexible about our "must-see's". I would highly recommend him as a one day or multi-day tour!!

We met Alex outside of the Ocean Bay Hotel & Resorts, Gambia.  Rather than going on a trip with the tour operator, we always prefer to use a local guide which helps the local economy.  Alex assisted us with the booking of the trip which was reasonably priced and gave us a full itinerary of the day and what was included and not included.  Alex ensured that I would get vegetarian food also (he spoke with the restaurant in advance).  Everything on the day went smoothly.  We were picked up from the hotel on time, got to the ferry in plenty of time and all the timings were planned to perfection.  Alex was very knowledegable in terms of the local area and the history of Kunta Kinteh Island.  Alex is really fun and got involved in all of the pictures and videos for our memories. Further, as Alex was just outside of the hotel he assisted us with the money exchange and would walk with us if required to ensure we were OK.  We would throroughly recommend Alex in terms of trips and anything else you may  need on your trip.  Thanks for a great time  Alex. 

I highly recommend Alex as a tourguide if you ever go to The Gambia (and Senegal). He helped us throughout our stay in Banjul. We went to the Bakau town and crocodile pool among other places of interest. Alex can also organize your airport pick up and drop of and provides very reasonable tariffs. He's honest and reliable. During a stay in Gambia, my friend Fanny and me met Alex during a walk in the streets of the village.

We have adored ! In addition to being friendly, flexible, and caring, Alex offers a perfect organization according to your wishes.

In particular, we did the half-day excursion to the Lamin Lodge. We were able to discover during a canoe trip the culture of local oysters, as well as the different uses they make of them. Each step was explained to us by the people on the ground. It was very informative and really interesting!

We were also able to visit a market as well as walk on the white sand beach around the colorful boats returning from fishing.

The meals and snacks throughout the excursion were perfect and very consistent!

We recommend Alex with eyes closed! We were 2 young girls traveling alone and felt safe at all times. The Gambia is a beautiful and very interesting country and its inhabitants are really very welcoming. We keep a wonderful memory!

Alex also offers excursions to neighboring Senegal. Transfers from / to the airport are organized and transport in the countries as well. Alex is very organized and punctual. Everything is well thought out!
