Good morning. I had the privilige of exploring the HH Reserve last weekend with Andreas. Andreas has an incredible knowledge of the natural world, as well as incredible enthusiam and energy in what he does. I greatly look forward to my next hike with him. Regards, Llewellyn Louw.
Andreas is my idea of "the perfect guide". I found him extremely knowledgeable about nature, history, geology, archaeology, and a lot more. It was wonderful being guided and informed / educated by him during the three days of the hike. He made the plants, nature, mountains, birds, insects and everything we encountered come to life and so much more interesting and understandable. Over and above his excellent knowledge he is also a friendly and most likeable person. He is the type of person that instils confidence and is definitely the type of person that I would like around in a crisis. I want to thank Andreas for the most pleasant trip I had - your passion for nature and life in general is amazing and contagious. You will definitely see me again on one (and more) of your tours in future.
BAIE DANKIE Andreas
Das war AMASING
I had a most enjoyable and informative four days walking with Andreas in the Western Cape. He has an extensive knowledge of and a boundless enthusiasm for the flora and fauna, and geology of the area. Walks were tailor made to meet my requirements and while demanding Andreas was very aware of my age and hence limitations. One of my ambitions was to visit Table Mountain. It was decided that we would take the cable car to the top, explore the mountain top and descend on foot to the Kristenboch Botanic Gardens. The descent involved the Nursery Ravine. 700+ metres on very steep and uneven steps so not for the faint hearted but for me well worth the experience. Other walks were in Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve and Fernkloof Nature Reserve. Both beautiful and sufficiently demanding to be challenging. We also spent a day walking around Kristenboch where Andreas’s knowledge greatly enhanced the experience. I highly recomend Andreas as a guide for his knowledge, enthusiasm and empathy. Should I viist the Cape again I will ceratinly make contact and comend him to others.
