Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Zimbabwe
- On arrival in Harare, you will be transferred to check-in at the Holiday Inn Hotel. Once you settle in, a brief tour of the city would begin.
- Visit the local art galleries in town, museums, and the Mbare Market, which is the most popular market here that trades in all sorts of assorted wares.
- In the evening, return to your hotel.
Overnight stay in Harare.

Day 2: Harare - Chinhoyi
- After breakfast, depart at 07:30 AM to visit the Chinhoyi caves: a group of limestone and dolomite caves which were assigned the status of a National Park in the 1950s.
- Explore the Mashonaland East region where most of Zimbabwe's food crop farming is done.

Day 3: Harare - Eastern Highlands
- On this day, we drive through the Eastern Highlands. Located on Zimbabwe’s eastern border, these highlands cover 300 km from North to South. This part of Zimbabwe is famous for its beautiful landscape of rolling hills, rugged mountains and national parks. The main attraction in this region is the fabulous scenery and beautiful landscapes which make it a hiker’s wonderland.

Day 4: Eastern Highlands
- On this day, we visit the Nyanga National Park, the perfect recreational getaway. The absence of dangerous wildlife allows visitors to walk and explore the park freely. The green hills and perennial rivers here are a sight to behold.

Day 5: Eastern Highlands - Great Zimbabwe
- On this day, we depart at 10:00 AM to Masvingo town, where Great Zimbabwe is located. Great Zimbabwe was built between 1100 and 1200 AD and this is the sight that led to Zimbabwe being named the way it is. The ruins are perceived as best archaeological finding in Africa of all time.

Day 6: Great Zimbabwe
- The tour and exploration of the Great Zimbabwe ruins will continue on this day.

Day 7: Great Zimbabwe - Bulawayo
- This day, set out on a drive to Bulawayo, the second-largest city in Zimbabwe. This is home to the Khami ruins/ monuments. The site represents the history of one of Southern Africa’s great empires which was at its peak from 1450-1650. Explore this area with your Zimbabwe tour guide.

Day 8: Bulawayo - Matopo national park
- This day we visit the Matopo National Park; a small park which is Cecil John Rhodes final resting place. We will visit Rhodes' grave.
- Next, we will explore the Bushman cave paintings, and admire the beautiful vistas stretching out in each direction.
- Then, we proceed for a rhino tracking adventure. We might just catch a glimpse of the White and Black Rhinos for which this park is famous.
- We will enjoy game drives all along the way as this region is richly populated. It has the highest number of leopards in all of Zimbabwe, among dense populations of other species.

Day 9: Bulawayo - Hwange National Park
- Depart from your accommodation at 11:00 AM. On this day, we visit the Hwange National Park, which is 180 km from Victoria Falls. This day is marked by full-day game drives.
- Staying at the Sable Sands Lodge will give you the best opportunity the enjoy the wildlife which is predominant in the Park, as it is located within the perimeter.

Day 10: Hwange National Park
- We will continue our game drives in the Hwange National Park, which is the largest in all of Zimbabwe. There are numerous other attractions, and places of interest, within the park. Exploring pre-colonial rock-carvings and viewing game from concealed lookouts are some things that we'll do at the park.

Day 11: Hwange - Victoria Falls
- This day, we explore the Victoria Falls.
- Take a guided tour of the Falls and learn all about it's significance and worth to Zimbabwe.
- A scenic helicopter ride (15 minutes) will leave you in awe of the beautiful sight below you; as the roaring sound of crashing water fills your ears.
- Game drive at the Zambezi National Park is an experience you won't ever forget.
- Then, check-in at the Nkosi Guest lodge or Bayete Guest lodge for a two-night stay in Victoria Falls.
- This day, we explore the Victoria Falls.

Day 12: Victoria Falls
- We will continue our exploration of Victoria Falls today.
- As our trip draws to a close, we will set out to buy souvenirs with which you could remember the trip for a long time to come.
- A Boma dinner and drumming show are sure to give you a taste of the Zimbabwean life.
- Experience the Zambezi sunset cruise which will end the day on a high note as you soak in the resplendent views surrounding you.
- In the evening, return to your accommodation.
- We will continue our exploration of Victoria Falls today.

Day 13: Depart from Zimbabwe
- There will be no sightseeing on this day. You will be dropped off at the airport for your onward flight. We hope to see you again, sometime.
