Hwange National Park, located about 180 km (112 miles) from Victoria Falls, is renowned for its vast landscapes, abundant wildlife, and large elephant herds. The journey takes approximately 2–2.5 hours by road, passing through rural villages and scenic African bushland.

Tour Itinerary:Early Morning Departure (6:00 – 6:30 AM)
- Pickup from your hotel/lodge in Victoria Falls.
- Scenic drive to Hwange National Park with a chance to see local villages and wildlife along the way.
- Arrival at the park's entrance and a quick briefing before the safari begins.
Morning Game Drive (9:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
- Begin your game drive in an open safari vehicle, guided by an experienced ranger.
- Search for big game species, including elephants, lions, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. Hwange is home to over 100 mammal species and 400 bird species, making it a paradise for nature lovers.
- Visit famous watering holes where animals congregate, especially during dry months (June–October).
Lunch & Relaxation (12:30 – 1:30 PM)
- Stop at a scenic picnic spot or a safari lodge for a delicious bush lunch.
- Enjoy some relaxation while taking in the stunning African wilderness.
Afternoon Game Drive (1:30 – 4:00 PM)
- Continue exploring the park, with opportunities to see more wildlife.
- Possible encounters with cheetahs, wild dogs, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.
- Capture stunning photos as the light softens, providing the perfect setting for photography.
Return to Victoria Falls (4:00 – 6:30 PM)
- Depart from Hwange and drive back to Victoria Falls.
- Drop-off at your hotel or lodge, concluding an unforgettable day in Zimbabwe’s premier wildlife park.

What's Included

Transportation: Round-trip transfers between your accommodation in Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park, usually in a comfortable minibus or safari vehicle

Game Drives: Morning and afternoon game drives within the park, led by professional guides in open-air 4x4 vehicles, providing opportunities to spot wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and various bird species

Lunch: A meal is typically provided during the tour, often at the Hwange Main Camp or a designated picnic site within the park

What's Excluded

Park Entrance Fees: Entrance fees to Hwange National Park are often not included in the tour price and are payable upon arrival

As of the latest information, the fee is approximately US$20 per person, but it's advisable to confirm the current rate beforehand

Breakfast: Given the early departure from Victoria Falls (around 6:30 AM), breakfast is typically not included

It's recommended to arrange a packed breakfast with your hotel prior to departure
