Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Harare and transfer to hotel

   • On arrival in Harare, you will be transferred to check-in at the Holiday Inn Hotel. 
   • Depending on the time you arrive, we may visit the local art galleries or the Mbare Market which is well-known for its trade of assorted items as well as its museum. 

2. Day 2: Harare - Nyanga National park

   • Depart from your hotel in Harare at 07:30 AM after breakfast.   
   • We will then head towards the Nyanga National park, which is a perfect recreational getaway. This region's main attraction is the fabulous scenery and beautiful landscapes, making it a hiker’s wonderland. The absence of dangerous wildlife allows visitors to walk and explore. Stay at the Troutbeck Resort.

3. Day 3: Nyanga National park

   • We will continue our exploration at the Nyanga National Park. The Eastern Highlands is located on Zimbabwe’s eastern border, covering 300 km from North to South. This part of Zimbabwe is famous for its beautiful landscape of rolling hills and rugged mountains and national parks. Tour of Nyanga national park fees is included in the package.

4. Day 4: Nyanga National park

   • This day, we will continue exploring the Nyanga National park. We will hike and tour the natural landscape and spend our last night at Troutbeck Resort before heading out to Masvingo. 

5. Day 5: Nyanga National park - Great Zimbabwe

   • Departure at 10:00 AM towards Masvingo, where Great Zimbabwe is located. Built between 1100 and 1200 AD, the ruins are perceived as best archaeological finding in Africa; the place where Zimbabwe derived its present name from. Stay at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel.

6. Day 6: Matopo National Park

   • After Masvingo's Great Zimbabwe tour, drive to Bulawayo, the second-largest city in Zimbabwe. This is home to the Khami ruins/monuments. The site represents one of Southern African’s great empires at its peak from 1450-1650. Matopo National Park is a small park with Cecil John Rhodes final resting place. It also has great landscapes and cultural site with Bushman paintings. The park has black and white rhinos also with the highest number of hyenas in Zimbabwe.

7. Day 7: Matopo National Park

   • On this day, we will continue our tour of the Khami ruins and the Matopo National Park.

8. Day 8: Matopo National Park - Hwange National Park

   • Depart from Matopo in the morning at 11:00 AM and drive towards the Hwange National Park, which is 180km from Victoria Falls. Staying at the Sable Sands Lodge will give you the best opportunity to enjoy the predominant wildlife in the Park.

9. Day 9: Hwange National Park

   • On this day, we continue our tour of the Hwange National Park.

10. Day 10: Hwange National Park - Victoria Falls

    • Depart from Hwange and explore the adventure capital, Victoria Falls. 
    • Experience the Zambezi sunset cruise and take a guided tour of the Falls. Also, have an elephant ride experience in a beautiful setting. 
    • Take a game drive at the Zambezi national park before checking in at the Nkosi Guest lodge or Bayete Guest lodge for two nights that we spend in Victoria Falls.

11. Day 11: Victoria Falls

    • On this day, we continue our exploration of Victoria Falls.
    • Enjoy a game drive in the evening at the Zambezi National Park before returning to your hotel.

12. Day 12: Departure

    • We will check out at 10:00 AM and you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flights. This is the day when we will bid farewell hoping to meet once more, in the future.
