Itinerary

1. Day 1: Travel from Lusaka to Kafue National Park (Central Region)

   • Wake up at 06:00, take a shower, and have a delicious breakfast at 06:30.

   • At 07:00, get picked up from your lodge or hotel in Lusaka by your driver and tour guide.

   • Pass through Lusaka City and head towards Kafue National Park, approximately 396 km away via Mumbwa Road.

   • Stop at Nalusanga Gate for photos and refreshments.

   • Upon arrival at Mwamfushi Lodge, check into your comfortable accommodation located on the banks of the Kafue River.

   • No activities on this day.

   • Enjoy a delicious dinner in the evening and retire for the night.

2. Day 2: Full Day Activities in Kafue National Park

   • Wake up at 05:30, take a shower, and have your breakfast at 06:00.

   • At 06:30, depart for a morning game drive in Kafue National Park.

   • Enjoy a delicious lunch within the park after the game drive.

   • At 14:30, go for a mini mountain hiking adventure in the park.

   • Later in the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise on the Kafue River.

   • In the evening, savor a delicious dinner and retire for the night.

3. Day 3: Travel from Kafue National Park to Livingstone

   • Wake up at 06:00, take a shower, and have breakfast at 06:30.

   • At 07:00, check out from the lodge and proceed on a 392 km drive to Livingstone via Dundumwezi Road.

   • Upon arrival, check in at Luxe Countryside for your stay.

   • No activities on this day.

   • Enjoy a delicious dinner in the evening and relax for the night.

4. Day 4: Livingstone to Kasane Chobe National Park Day Trip

   • Wake up at 05:45, take a shower, and have breakfast at 06:30.

   • At 06:50, get picked up from your lodge/hotel and travel to the border post for customs clearance (approximately 45 minutes).

   • After clearing customs, head to Chobe National Park, arriving around 08:40.

   • Start with a leisurely three-hour game-viewing cruise on the Chobe River, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and various antelope species.

   • At around 12:30, enjoy lunch at a riverbank hotel.

   • After lunch, board a 4x4 safari vehicle for a guided game drive in Chobe National Park, seeking out other wildlife and enjoying the beautiful environment.

   • At approximately 17:00, head back to the border post and return to your hotel in Livingstone by 18:00.

   • In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and relax.

5. Day 5: Travel from Livingstone to Hwange National Park

   • Wake up at 05:00, take a shower, and have breakfast at 05:30.

   • At 06:00, depart from Livingstone and travel to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.

   • Check in at your accommodation upon arrival in Hwange.

   • No activities on this day.

   • Enjoy a delicious dinner in the evening and relax.

6. Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in Hwange National Park

   • Wake up early for a full day of game viewing in Hwange National Park.

   • Explore this vast park, known for its incredible diversity of wildlife, including large herds of elephants and a variety of predators and antelope.

   • Visit the Painted Dog Conservation Center if time allows.

   • At 07:00, check out of the lodge and travel 101.4 km back to Livingstone.

   • Before crossing into Zambia, visit the Mighty Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side.

   • Upon arrival in Livingstone, check in at Luxe Countryside for your final night.

   • In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and relax, reflecting on the highlights of your 7-day adventure.

   • End of the 7-day tour.
