I have prepared and lead non-commercial tours since 1999.  These tours (safaris) have mostly been to remote, wild areas in order to experience the real Africa.  A few high profile tourist destinations like Victoria Falls are also on the list, but my preference is more for destinations like Mabuasehube in Botswana, or Sioma Ngwezi in Angola, or Chimfunzi in Zambia.Further more, I also do "straight line tours" within the South African borders.  This entails drawing a line on a map, for example from Pretoria to Cape Town, and then try to stay as close to the line as possible, driving on narrow gravel roads, off the beaten track, and paying no toll fees.  This way you also see and experince the real rural South Africa and its hidden beauty.
