Itinerary

1. Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger National Park

   • Meet the tour guide and drive from Johannesburg heading east towards the province of Mpumalanga. 
   • Drive via Witbank and Lydenburg, after which we take the first sightseeing tour along the panorama route and visit the viewpoint the God's Window. 
   • Head directly to the Kruger National Park.

   Distance: 500 km

   Dinner: At your own expense

2. Day 2: Kruger National Park

   • Go for a morning game drive with the hope of spotting the Big Five and antelope species. 
   • After the game drive, we drive back to the lodge and then have free time until the afternoon. 
   • Start the afternoon game drive with our vehicle for about three hours.

   Distance: 100 km

   Breakfast: Lower Sabie Accommodation

   Dinner: Own expense

3. Day 3: Swaziland - Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary

   • Leave the Kruger National Park and drive through the small town of Malelane to Swaziland. En route, we will make a stop at the Matsamo cultural village, located right on the border of South Africa and Swaziland, where we will learn about Swazi culture and have a traditional village lunch. 
   • After lunch, we cross the border and drive inside Swaziland to our accommodation at the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary.

   Distance: 250 km
   Breakfast: Skukuza Rest Camp
   Lunch: At Matsamo Culture Village (traditional food)
   Dinner: Own expense

4. Day 4: Swaziland - St Lucia

   • Leave Swaziland and drive back to South Africa.
   • Do border formalities, and then we continue to Zululand. Today we have no planned activities. If time permits, we will visit Isimangaliso Wetland Park (World Heritage Site).  
   • Arrive at the lodge in the afternoon.

5. Day 5: St Lucia - Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park

   • Start with a morning game drive at Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park, which is 15km from our lodge. Before the afternoon, we drive back to the lodge. 
   • Take a sunset cruise at Isimangaliso Wetlands Park, a World Heritage Site.

   Distance: 350 km

   Lunch: Own expense
   Dinner: At the lodge

6. Day 6: Drakensberg

   • Depart early as we have a long drive to the Southern Drakensberg. If we will arrive early at our accommodation, we will have time for hiking Drakensberg Mountain. 

   Distance: 550 km
   Breakfast: Forest Lodge
   Lunch: Own expense
   Dinner: At the lodge

7. Day 7: End of the Tour

   • Have breakfast, and we drive back to Johannesburg.
