2. Babylonstoren

   • 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM - Drive to Stellenbosch.
     • Scenic drive to Stellenbosch (approximately 45 minutes).
   • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Babylonstoren Wine Estate.
     • Arrival: Explore the historic Cape Dutch farm nestled in the Drakenstein Valley.
   • Activities:
     • Walk around the eight-acre vegetable garden.
     • Enjoy the Deli Cafe and Bakery.
     • Participate in a wine-tasting experience, sampling 5 wines from their white, rosé, and red selections.
     • Visit the Scented Room to immerse yourself in the aromas of herbs, flowers, and essential oils.
     • Shop for handmade quality souvenirs.
   • Babylonstoren Wine Estate is a historic Cape Dutch farm nestled in the Drakenstein Valley, renowned for its delicious wines and stunning eight-acre vegetable garden (Perfect to walk around and take pictures). We love its tasty Deli Cafe and Bakery, its giant vegetable garden walk and the tasting room experience! His most loved wine is the Babel Red Blend. It is a favourite among wine enthusiasts for its complexity and smooth finish, perfectly representing the quality and craftsmanship of Babylonstoren's wines. You will try 5 wines of their white/rose/red selections; let’s find our favourite one together!
   • We also love their Scented Room where you can immerse yourself in the delightful aromas of the estate's gardens, experience the fragrant beauty of herbs, flowers, and essential oils crafted from their diverse botanical collection. It is a great stop to find handmade quality souvenirs to bring back home if you wish too!

3. Lunch in Franschoek

   • 12:00 PM - 12:20 PM - Drive to Franschhoek.
     • Short drive to Franschhoek (approximately 20 minutes).
   • 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM - Lunch in Franschhoek.
     • Location: A favourite Farm restaurant in the heart of the Franschhoek Valley.
   • Activities:
     • Enjoy a picturesque view setting.
     • Savour a farm-to-table meal with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
   • Franschhoek (a 20-minute drive) for a tasty lunch in our favourite Farm restaurant nestled in the heart of the Franschhoek Valley. This charming lunch spot offers a picturesque view setting and a delicious farm-to-table meal! We love their fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

   Pair your meal with wine and MCC (Méthode Cap Classique).

4. Franschoek Wine Tasting

   • 2:00 PM - 2:10 PM - Drive to Next Wine Estate.
     • Quick drive to the next Wine Estate in Franschhoek.
   • 2:15 PM - 4:15 PM - Wine Blending Experience.
   • Activity: Participate in an interactive Wine Blending experience.
     • Learn about different varietals.
     • Create your own unique wine blend.
     • Guided by expert winemakers.
     • Craft a personalized bottle to take home.
   • We will then drive to our next Wine Estate for a wine tasting, but this time with a twist! We found a stunning, educative, and fun experience for you. Be a winemaker for a day and join a Wine Blending experience! Engage in a fun, interactive session where you’ll learn about different varietals and create your unique blend. Guided by expert winemakers, you can craft a personalized bottle to take home. This experience combines education, creativity, and the enjoyment of fine wine.

5. Drop Off

   • 4:15 PM - 5:35 PM - Drive Back to Cape Town City
     • Drive back to Cape Town City (approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes).
   • 5:45 PM - Drop-off
     • Drop off at your accommodation in Cape Town City.
