Please note: I am only available for bookings 1 week or more, in length.
After my first visit to South Africa and the Kruger National Park in 2001, a dream of pursuing a career in Nature Conservation and Education began.Being born and raised in Australia, after many years of traveling to South Africa as a tourist, I made the decision to move there permanently in 2007 where I began working on a Cheetah conservation project.Working so closely with a variety of wild cat species gave me a fantastic opportunity to learn about their behaviors, their social bonding and the importance for them to grow up and be raised in a natural environment.
After obtaining qualifications as a Nature Guide in 2008, I started guiding in the Kruger National Park both in Private Safari Lodges and as a Freelance Guide where I developed a keen interest in bird life.In 2009 I started my own Safari Company and spent the first 4 years of the business concentrating on the typical Kruger National Park Safaris. However, after noticing a gap in the market, in 2012 I changed the style of Safari packages that I offer to include many of the other National Parks and Private Nature Reserves in southern Africa, including South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
In 2019, I made a hard decission, and moved my family back to Australia, however, I still conduct tours throughout southern Africa several times per year as requested by guests, though this means I am now only available for longer tours of at least 1 weeks.
As well as my love for the peace and quiet of life in the bush, I enjoy Photography, Golf and enjoying nature walks with my Wife and Daughter.
