Johannesburg Walking Tour
Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location and begin the tour. Set off at Braamfontein and make a stop at Park Station; this is a central railway station in the city of Johannesburg and the largest railway station in Africa.
Catch a local bus to drive deep into the city.
Hop off from the bus, and you are going to take a walk in the famous mining mall. Learn about the history of gold in Johannesburg and also visit the law office of Nelson Mandela and OR Tambo.
Have an opportunity to go underground in one of the well-preserved mining stopes.
Make another stop at the impressive statue of a youthful Gandhi and artwork celebrating Joburg’s multicultural roots.
Move to the base of the Carlton Centre. Carlton Centre used to be the tallest building in the African and Southern Hemisphere for almost 40yrs.
