Johannesburg & Soweto Tour
Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location and begin the tour.
Photograph the stadium that hosted the 2010 World Cup event.
Proceed to Diepkloof Extensions, which is also known as 'rich man's acre'. See all the expensive houses and hear about the celebrities residing in that area.
Stop at Mr Percy’s house who will take you on a tour to his match-box house.
Proceed to Baragwanath hospital and the biggest taxi rank in Soweto, which is used as an interchange for public transport modes.
See the Elias Motsoaledi squatter camp.
Drive past Orlando towers, which are a prominent landmark in Soweto. They were built in 1951 to supplement the spray pond cooling system. These towers are also used for bungee and base jumping.
Proceed to James Sofasonke Mpanza house in Orlando.
Drive past the heritage sites of Orlando East, Orlando high school, Orlando Stadium and Orlando communal hall.
Proceed to Orlando west for Hector Pieterson Museum and hear the facts about the 1976 students uprisings.
Make your last stop in Vilakazi Street for Nelson Mandela's house and Arch Bishop Tutu's house. Bishop Tutu’s house can only be viewed from the outside as it is not a museum.
