Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival and Drakensberg Discovery

   • The group will arrive at the King Shaka International Airport. Depart from the airport for lunch.
   • Depart for Drakensberg Park, check in at the park and view the vicinity, supper and relax at a restaurant.

2. Day 2: Canopy Adventures and Heritage Exploration

   • Wake up and then depart for an early morning guided walk. Return to the lodge for showers and breakfast.
   • Depart for a canopy tour, Didima Gorge, abseiling, lunch, heritage route. Return to the lodge for dinner, relaxing and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Sani Valley, Isandlwana, and Zulu Heritage

   • Wake up, shower, and have breakfast.
   • Depart for Sani Valley and Bushman Rock Art Centre.
   • Continue the journey to Isandlwana, known for the first battle of the Anglo-Zulu War in 1879. Along the way, take beautiful photos.
   • Lunch during the journey. Check in at Isandlwana and then embark on a tour of Isandlwana, exploring the historical site.
   • Return to the lodge, have showers, enjoy supper, relax at the restaurant, and overnight.

4. Day 4: Rorke’s Drift, Dundee, and Cultural Trails

   • Wake up, take a bath, and have breakfast.
   • Depart for a tour of Rorke’s Drift and Dundee, visiting Blood River and the Talana Museum.
   • Break for lunch. Depart for a Zulu village tour and the fugitive trail, and conclude the day with the Isandlwana memorial.
   • Return to the lodge, freshen up, and then have supper and overnight.

5. Day 5: Wildlife Encounter at Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park

   • Have breakfast and then check out from Isandlwana.
   • Depart for Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park, one of the large game parks in South Africa, home to the Big Five as well as the elusive Cheetah and wild dog.
   • Lunch and continue the journey to the park.
   • Check in, view the area, take showers, and have supper.
   • Depart for a Night Drive in search of cats like lions, leopards, etc.
   • Return to the lodge and overnight.

6. Day 6: Safari Trails and Nighttime Exploration

   • Wake up and depart for an early morning safari guided walking trail.
   • Return to the lodge for freshening up and have breakfast.
   • Depart for a half-day drive.
   • Return to the lodge and relax.
   • Depart for a sunset drive.
   • Return to the lodge, have supper at the restaurant, and relax at the restaurant and bar.

   Overnight at the lodge.

7. Day 7: eMakhosini Valley and Durban Delights

   • Have breakfast, check out, and depart for eMakhosini Valley, close to various activities, shopping centres, beaches, etc.
   • Lunch along the way and continue the trip to eMakhosini. Check-in at eMakhosini Hotel, view the area, and depart for shopping and exploring Durban.
   • Return to the hotel, freshen up, and depart for a Sunset Cruise with supper.
   • Return to the hotel, relax, and overnight.

8. Day 8: 1000 Hills Adventure and Beach Bliss

   • Have breakfast and depart for a trip to 1000 Hills.
   • Enjoy lunch and explore theme parks in the area.
   • Depart for the spectacular beach for a full day of amusement and relaxation.
   • After the recreation, return to the hotel (eMakhosini Hotel).

9. Day 9: Ushaka Marine World Extravaganza

   • Have breakfast.
   • Depart for Ushaka Marine World for the whole day, enjoying activities such as shark dive, ocean-walker experience, snorkel lagoon, meet a dolphin, seal encounter, and relax around the marine world.
   • Return to the hotel (Pavilion Hotel) for supper and overnight.

10. Day 10: Michel Park Farewell

    • Wake up, freshen up, and have breakfast.
    • Check out and depart for Michel Park and other areas of attraction around, including shopping.
    • Have lunch in town. Depart for King Shaka International Airport for a 14h00 flight and bid farewell.
